Platform Privacy Policy

This Platform Privacy Policy applies to users of the HyperV Monitor Cloud Service, including any tenant subdomain such as companyname.hypervmonitor.com. It explains how we process account, system, and monitoring data in compliance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the EU GDPR, and related data-protection laws.

1. Who We Are

HyperV Monitor is developed and operated by PatchBeacon Ltd. (“we”, “our”, “us”). We act as the data controller for user-account data created within the platform and as the data processor for monitoring data uploaded or generated on behalf of our customers.

We use a limited number of trusted third-party providers to operate the platform, such as cloud infrastructure, backup, and email delivery services. 7. Customer Responsibilities

Customers act as the data controller for any personal data contained within their monitored systems. Customers must ensure they have a lawful basis to collect and upload such data and that their end-users are informed accordingly.

8. International Data Transfers

Data may be processed in the United Kingdom, the European Union, or the United States depending on hosting location. Where transfers occur outside the UK/EU, we rely on an adequacy decision or Standard Contractual Clauses to ensure lawful cross-border protection.

9. Your Rights

Under the UK and EU GDPR, individuals have the right to access, rectify, erase, or restrict processing of their personal data, and to object or request portability where applicable. Requests can be made by emailing info@hypervmonitor.com. We will respond within 30 days of verification of identity.

10. Data Breach Notification

In the unlikely event of a personal-data breach that may affect you, we will notify affected controllers and/or individuals without undue delay, in accordance with Articles 33–34 of the GDPR.

11. Demo and Testing Environments

The public demo at demo.hypervmonitor.com uses simulated data only. IP logging and user-account tracking are disabled in demo mode.

We may update this policy periodically to reflect changes in law or our practices. The latest version will always be available on this page with a revised “Last updated” date.
